Featuring a foldable frame that saves time when setting up or wrapping, the ikan PT3700 17″ Location/Studio Teleprompter for 15mm Support Rods is a through-the-glass teleprompter suitable for DSLRs to mid-size cameras. The teleprompter unit mounts to your tripod and allows you to mount available video cameras supporting up to 25 pounds of camera and accessories. It features a 24″ T-Slot bar that supports the monitor, mirror glass, and camera riser unit. The monitor is a 17″ TFT LCD, with horizontal image flip, HDMI, VGA, and composite video inputs. The high quality 70/30 partially silvered glass is suitable for HD video. The mirror glass fits into a foldable support frame that speeds up set up and breakdown as the glass can safely travel int the teleprompter unit.

The camera riser uses either 5 or 7.8″ riser rods (both sets included), to adjust height of the camera. The riser comfortably supports mid-size cameras/camcorders. ikan recommends using a heavy duty tripod when using this size teleprompter system. The top of the riser features a sliding baseplate mechanism that allows you to fine tune the balance, once you have roughed it on the 24″ long support bar. The prompter hood attaches to the mirror frame using magnets, instead of hook & loop fasteners. Included with the unit are the full version of ikan’s PrompterPro software, versions 2.0 & 3.0, ready to install and use with your Windows or Mac computer.

PrompterPro 3.0 Teleprompting Software
This teleprompting software includes a full text editor, vertical and horizontal screen flip, real-time text updates, adjustable cue markers, full mouse control, and live prompter mode that provides control over text scrolling speed.

Allows you to open .txt, .rtf files, and the Windows version will open .doc/.docx files. You can then edit text color, size, and font, and store the files in a database for future reference

PrompterPro 2.0 Teleprompting Software
This software is included for customers using PowerPC computers running OSX 10 to 10.6, and is not compatible with newer versions of the Mac OS.
